Player

The trading history is played through the Player window, which allows the path for trades to be fully reproduced for the selected instruments, including the chart, DOM and the trade feed. During playback, trading operations in the simulator mode can be performed to practice trading strategies.

To switch to the trading history playback mode, in the menu select File → Trading mode → Player. To display the Player window, in the main menu, select Tables → Player.

Column

Description

Ticker

The abbreviated name of the instrument for which the trading history will be reproduced.

Record date

Record date of the trading history for the selected instrument.

Last update

Time of the last data change during the trading history playback.

Playback history in tick-only format

This type of history does not contain DOMs and allows the history for all instruments available in TigerTrade to be replayed.

To reproduce the trading history in tick-only format, complete the following actions:

  1. Switch the terminal to player mode: FileTrading modePlayer.

  2. In the Player window, click the  Open trading historybutton.

  3. In the window that opens, select the Only tickstab.

  4. In the left part of the window, select the date you are interested in.

  5. On the right side of the window, add the required instruments.

  6. Click the OKbutton. The selected entries will be displayed in the Playerwindow.

Playback history in tick and DOM format

This type of history contains both ticks and DOMs, which allows the trading history to be fully reproduced. Trading history records in this format must be downloaded in advance. Records are available only for the most liquid Moscow Exchange instruments .

Download trading history records

Unpack the downloaded files to any directory, for example in D:\Records. The path to this directory will then need to be specified in the window for selecting auction records.

In order to reproduce the trading history, follow these steps:

  1. Switch the terminal to player mode: FileTrading modePlayer.

  2. In the Player window, click the  Open trading historybutton.

  3. In the window that opens, select the Ticks and DOMtab.

  4. Specify the path to the directory with trading records.

  5. In the left part of the window, select the date you are interested in.

  6. On the right side of the window, check the boxes for the required instruments.

  7. Click the OKbutton. The selected entries will be displayed in the Playerwindow.

Launching and controlling playback

For the instruments whose records have been selected, the charts and DOMs must be opened. Next, launch playback of the trading history. During viewing, you can pause or completely stop playback of the recording.
